Hi My name is Kiddee
I am a self-confessed SailorMoon and X-japan lover. I am a part-time blogger full time day dreamer. I always love to visit Japan. My life long plan is to make a travel from Hoikkaido down to Okinawa in one month and make blog+vlog about it (someday!)
I am currently studying my second bachelor degree for Internaitonal Business and Marketing Logistics in Finland. Lately, I have been daydreaming about turning my life around or at least include my fascination in traveljournalism in my life plan. I feel very good everytime I write and share something for my friends and total strangers to read. In my bucket list, I would love to contribute my writing to some travel book, programs or something. But I know I have so much to learn and practice before I can achieve that list.
When I was 15 (year 2000), I had this great opportunity to visit Japan and stay with the host family for International Girl Scout Camp in Saitama. It was a distant but brilliant experience for me. I love every minute of it. I stayed in Japan for a month (1 week in a camp and then the rest with my two host famalies in Saitama). They took me to Tokyo, Saitama city center and Yokohama. The only thing I felt bad is that I lost my contact information with my host family when my house went through a huge renovation. Japanese people are very nice and polite. I love their philosophical way of living and their culture so much.
Japanese music scenes are the best in the world, in my opinion. I love Visual-Kei, especially from 80's and 90's like X-Japan, Luna Sea, L'Arc-en-Ciel, Glay and Malice Mizer. The powerful chords, powerful and highly emotional ballad and the costumes fascinated me a lot.
My favourite traditional culture is Tea Ceremony. It is all about Wabi-Sabi. The beauty of the process and the ideas behind it are so elegant, calm and beautiful. I love Kimono and I hope that one day I could try wearing the full version of it and walk in the old part of Kyoto.
Don't get me strarted with Manga! omg. Sailormoon is my idol when I was a kid. There is no other girl-character based manga that could beat Naoko's sensei work of art. And all supersentai (well it is not manga but still...) love it. Although I am a girl, my attachment to the robot fighters came from them! I think my every first set of Super Sentai is Jetman. Right now I am watching Gokaigers on Youtube - seriously Japanese people are pure geniuses in story making and merchandising.
I think I should stop now. I could write an epic novel about me and my japan out of this bio.
