Baseball has long been one of Japan’s most beloved sports, with millions of fans filling stadiums and tuning in year-round. In recent years, the global success of Japanese players—particularly the meteoric rise of Shohei Ohtani—has fueled an even deeper enthusiasm for the game. Ohtani's achievements in Major League Baseball (MLB) have captivated audiences and inspired a new generation of fans and athletes alike.
This March, Japan-based baseball fans will have a rare opportunity to see some local heroes return to play on home soil as MLB kicks off its regular season with the Tokyo Series presented by Guggenheim, taking place at Tokyo Dome.

The event schedule is as follows:
- March 15: Chicago Cubs vs. Hanshin Tigers at 12pm, and Yomiuri Giants vs. Los Angeles Dodgers at 7pm (exhibition games)
- March 16: Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Hanshin Tigers at 12pm, and Yomiuri Giants vs. Chicago Cubs at 7pm (exhibition games)
- March 18: Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Chicago Cubs - from 7pm JST (regular series game)
- March 19: Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Chicago Cubs - from 7pm JST (regular series game)
Please note that tickets for the event are now sold out, and no same-day tickets will be sold at the venue. For those based in Japan, the games will be televised on Nippon Television Network and via Prime Video.
