Around Daikanyama Station

Exploring one of Tokyo's most fashionable areas

Daikanyama is one of many popular areas in Tokyo. I would call it the 'Harajuku for 20-30 year olds'. It has everything for spending a lazy weekend.

Lots of pancake shops, traditional sweets shops, eateries, beauty salons, Indian trinket shops, designer clothes and shoes boutiques, and what not.

Just out of the station you can find many things to do. But the first question is "Where to drink some coffee"? Try Motoya Espresso Express or Little Mermaid cafe (firstly don't forget to buy a couple of chocolates at Leonidas).

You can also indulge in grilled burgers or try Eggs Benedict (not to mention well-known lemon ricotta pancakes) at Sarabeth's, a breakfast place for every Japanese foodie.
