Beautiful view of lighted trees in Roppongi for the annual "Artelligent Christmas" illumination with thousands of LEDs. It's on now until Christmas day in Roppongi Midtown area and there's a big map near the Fujifilm building that shows the location of all the illumination areas. A wonderful spectacle to be enjoyed by all, creating a pleasant atmosphere and a world of wonder in the evening and at night. You can enjoy watching the sea of blue LEDs from outside or from the comfort of a nearby shopping mall while sipping a hot cup of coffee.
Roppongi Midtown Illumination
Enjoy beautiful lighted trees and an LED sea with waves

The trees have lots of LEDs that change colours, you can go from red to orange and to blue if you wait for them to change colour.

The official name for the illumination areas in Roppongi is "Artelligent Christmas".

These trees have a blue colour, so it's up to you which colour you want in your photos. The Tokyo Tower building in the background looks warmer if the tree colour is blue instead of red.

Walking around the city you can find more trees in other neighbourhoods that have different coloured LEDs.

There's a big sign near the Fujifilm building in Roppongi that shows where all the illumination areas are located.

The trees glow in the night air and make great reflections in the water near the park.

Even the bushes on the side of the walkway have LEDs attached to them, illuminating the whole area.

The beautiful sea of LEDs in a large rectangular area looks almost like a real sea.

Watch out for the crowds since many people want to walk by and take photos of the LED sea. It's a good idea to go on a weekday early afternoon around 5 pm when it's already dark but not too many people around.

The colours and the movement of the LEDs look magical from any angle.

A very cool view of the shopping mall right across from the blue LED sea, with a helicopter high in the sky.

From time to time these poles move up and down with the LEDs on top and some type of fog shoots out of the ground and surrounds the poles looking almost like an alien starship landing.

Beautiful sculpture illuminated by the many LEDs makes it seem even more surreal and artistic.

The street is glowing with so many different colours from the LEDs on the trees, and the normal lights of the night lights as well as the cars' headlights.

View from inside the shopping mall is indeed a "premium" view, since you can stand indoors in the warm air of the mall and look outside at the beautiful sea of blue LEDs.
