There's no doubting that Japan's spectacular seasonal beauty has inspired numerous artists throughout history, and the most influential muse of all may well be cherry blossoms. A special exhibition taking place at the Wood One Museum of Art looks into a variety of masterpieces that depict these much-loved blooms, from the likes of Taikan Yokoyama, Kawai Gyokudo, and Kawanabe Kyosai to name just a few.
Adult admission to the event is priced at 1200 yen, and no advance reservations are required. Do note that the museum is closed each Monday if you're planning on making a special trip.
